In the area of mobile solution strategy, many companies are looking to move away from Enterprise Blackberry based solutions or review and develop a fit for purpose mobile device strategy. This is where we can help and advise on a flexible mobile strategy and assist in developing a transition programme. We have worked with organisations such as Oxfam, Ladbrokes, Jaguar Land Rover and Specsavers to review and assess their currently deployed mobile solutions in this way.

As "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) expands to what both Gartner and Forrester believe will be more than 92% of enterprises by the end of 2015, we see a surge in personal iPad and Android tablets as well as smartphones supported by Gartner in their market share data (Diagram right) - wanting to be connected to business email and calendar services. Securing enterprise data is more crucial than ever. According to Good Technology survey:

  • 55% of BYOD programs are global.
  • Employees cover all costs in 50% of BYOD environments
  • Only 5% of companies will not support BYOD this year

Are your IT systems designed to meet this BYOD demand? Is your company ready to support this user and business need?

The consultant we worked with talked in plain English, not ‘geek speak’ and was able to understand what we wanted to try and achieve and gave us great ideas and input as to what was possible - things we had not even thought of! We have now just moved to iPhone and iPad and everything just works

Apple Product Integration

At our start-up we made the decision not to use traditional ‘Wintel’ PC devices but instead adopt an Apple Mac client strategy. Back in 2001 internet wide area communication was not as pervasive as now, mobile data communication was in its infancy and Apple Mac computers where to be found within the realm of design and creatives and certainly not in mainstream business use.

Over a decade later we still only use Apple and have worked over the last few years with Apple Prosumer EMEA and a rapidly growing number of businesses who want to look at adopting Apple technology. We have helped these clients to transition to Apple products on the desktop and for mobile solutions integrating with solutions from Microsoft, IBM and Google.

(Ingensys) and I worked with a team of sales and technical folks from Apple. We were all impressed with the very apparent expertise and deep knowledge of Lotus Notes and Microsoft products. It was always clear to me Ingensys were at the leading edge of Lotus Notes and associated products.
— Sam Greenlees, Director, IBM Global Services

The surge in demand for these services has been due to the huge rise in the Apple brand and reputation through its iPhone and iPad products. These products introduce both consumers and business users to a different way of interacting with technology in the ‘Post PC era’.

To meet the demand we have seen from working on many projects involving the deployment of iPad and iPhone, we have a focussed Apple team - iOS Training who help businesses with bespoke training and deployment of iPad and iPhones within their business.

With a decade of using and integrating Apple technology into ‘a windows world’ we are uniquely placed to provide advice and guidance into the suitability of Apple products within your business. The integration of Apple technology to cloud solutions such as Google Apps and Microsoft Office365 is one of our specialities - try us!
